WELLNESS WEDNESDAY 6 WEEK SERIES: LOCKDOWN ANXIETY

With the third wave of COVID-19 officially upon us and Ontario in a stay-at-home order until May 20, 2021 it would be safe to assume there is some angst being felt by most people in our community. With the ongoing restrictions and lockdowns that have been triggered AGAIN, it may cause us heightened fears for the health and safety of our loved ones. Here are some tips to help combat this anxiety.
- Have conversations with your friends, loved ones, and household.
- Avoid scrolling.
- Exercise regularly.
- Ask for help when you need it.
- Offer help.
- Eat healthy food.
- Prioritize good sleep.
- Practise gratitude.
- Try meditation.
- Combat Zoom fatigue.
- Avoid drugs and alcohol.
- Speak to a counsellor.
